The works presented at Hybrid are a list of diverse concepts that coexist with the sole intention of creating new plastic universes from existing ones. Japanese prints (Ukiyo-e), the Victorian era, street art o naturalist art will be observed as conceptual and chronological references.

Starting from the premise that art can occupy those spaces that the great work of nature  left "unfinished", such as the path of the dream. The idealizable or the transformable seems to be the only path we can follow and that takes us beyond what we know as "reality".

The pretext of the pictorial work, as a firm base to launch into an unknown void, the old journey of reverie; a plastic discourse full of artifice, of mutations, of Correct errors that can lead us to that place, which can only exist, between the work and the viewer.

Throughout his career, Manu Muñoz, a native of Cabo de Gata, Almería (1977), has tried to capture these dialogues in his work, always loaded with color and symbolism influenced by his artistic beginnings in 1991 within the fascinating world of graffiti.
