Lola Marazuela, Segovia 1970 presents under the title Sismógrafo part of her latest production.

 

Seismógrafo wanders between photography and installation, as an exercise in sculpture and concentration:

 

The room, illuminated with red spotlights, houses a table on which you can see vertical constructions of glasses, vases, bottles, glass goblets,... in a more sensitive and unstable balance as they gain height. Many of them will fall during assembly and exhibition, littering the floor with broken and shiny glass.

 

The facility is treacherous: when left unattended it can fall.

 

It is a máquina  big and impractical like the first computer.
